08.02.2016 Screw blowers offer significant energy savings

Kaeser Kompressoren, Coburg, Germany, has recently introduced a series of innovative screw blowers capable of delivering exceptional energy cost savings of up to 35% compared to conventional reciprocating blowers. The company states that for many years, rotary blowers were the preferred choice for applications involving handling of powders and bulk materials. The new screw blowers featuring the Sigma Profile, however, prove that the tried and trusted technology which already powers Kaeser’s rotary screw compressors can also be successfully applied to the low pressure ranges.

The company’s screw blowers, apart from being up to 35% more efficient than conventional rotary blowers, also outclass other comparable screw blowers on the market by delivering unique energy advantages, according to Kaeser. They will be featured by the company at Powtech in April (Stand 236, Hall 4). www.kaeser.com
