Jesma Vejeteknik A/S, Vejle, Denmark, at the beginning of February opened an office in the Netherlands. Naud Luijerink has been appointed sales director of the new company Jesma BV which will be responsible for sales and service in the Benelux. As a manufacturer of static, dynamic and continuous weighing systems, Jesma has references all over the world with a global sales and service network to provide local support. The company was founded in 1917.

 

Jesma BV will focus on the sale and support of weighing solutions for dry materials processing. In this respect the diverse Benelux market includes feed manufacturers, food manufacturers as well as processors of sugar, cocoa, coffee, soy, wheat, flour, rice and various powders. Also in the (petro) chemical industry there is a growing demand for accurate weighing solutions. Outside the Netherlands, there is a big market for mining & minerals, such as lime, cement, coal, bauxite, etc. Customers in the Benelux are expected mainly to consist of machinery manufacturers which provide facilities for production companies to optimise their processes.
