07.03.2016 Rotor impact mills in Thailand

BHS-Sonthofen, based in Sonthofen, Germany, reports that its Type RPM rotor impact mills are becoming increasingly popular for production of sand used in dry mortar. They have become the standard in certain countries for the production of extraordinarily fine sand. The properties of the discharged product can be precisely set by adjusting the circumferential speed of the rotor and the width of the annular gap. This makes it possible to produce sand with grading curves which precisely conform to specification.

12 BHS rotor impact mills are currently operating on the premises of Thailand's leading dry mortar manufacturer, Siam Mortar, with a further 10 machines already delivered and due for commissioning later this year. BHS has supplied three additional machines for a project with another Thai manufacturer – also for dry mortar. Moreover, Siam Mortar is operating four BHS VSI rotor centrifugal crushers of type RSMX for the crushing of granite – also for the production of dry mortar sand. In total, more than 30 BHS machines are currently operating in the dry mortar industry in Thailand. BHS-Sonthofen rotor impact mills will be exhibited by the company on Stand 449 in Hall B2 at Bauma, 11-17 April in Munich. www.bhs-sonthofen.de

Five BHS rotor impact mills of Type RPM 1513 are operating at Siam Mortar’s Khaeng Khoi III, Saraburi plant; each machine (Right) has 12 hammers, 200kW drive power and offers a throughput rate of up to 70t/h
