Berthold Technologies, Bad Wildbad, Germany, has introduced the DuoSeries LB 474, a new radiometric density system based on real 2-wire technology. It succeeds the company’s popular LB 444 density measurement system.

 

The DuoSeries consists of a scintillation detector – CrystalSENS point detector – and a sophisticated transmitter unit for display and operation. The density transmitter is a state-of-the-art control unit with robust 3.5in TFT touch panel, powerful Dual Core CPU, up to 4 calibration curves, compensation of product temperature variations via PT100 connected to detector or analogue current input and diverse operator interfaces. The calibration parameters can be exported via the USB port and can be easily imported to devices at other measuring tags. Advanced self-diagnostics and monitoring features ensure safe function of the system.
