11.04.2016 Facial recognition replaces passwords

AZO, Osterburken, Germany, will for the first time be demonstrating machine operator identification using biometric facial recognition on Stand 1-356 at next week’s Powtech. This latest development has been integrated into the company’s process control and instrumentation systems, demonstrating how the Industry 4.0 concept can be implemented in actual practice.

Other AZO innovations on show will include: a hygienic design of feeding hopper for dustfree bag emptying; completely revised and upgraded AZODOS precision dosing units for powders; an ingenious internal dry cleaning system for IBCs; and process control systems providing continuous identification, documentation, tracking and tracing. www.azo.com
