Rotary feeders with fast-clean capability
Zeppelin Systems, Friedrichshafen, Germany, has decided to optimise its recently launched range of CFH and CFM rotary feeders to meet requirements for rapid cleaning between batch changes. Accordingly, the company has introduced the new SR series (SR stands for Schnellreinigung: quick cleaning). Thanks to its design, the rotor can be swivelled and extracted to achieve faster batch changes and facilitate its cleaning as well as that of the rotary feeder. Furthermore, the improved access allows for easier inspection of internal components as well as for monitoring of the cleaning results.
These rotary feeders are available in stainless steel, aluminium or with wear protection such as ceramic lining. At the moment, SR versions of the CFH and CFM series are available in sizes 160, 200, 250 and 320. Models with larger diameters will soon be updated as well. The CFH and CFM series offer various other advantages such as high energy efficiency, robustness and modular design which enables use of the same housing for both the high-pressure as well as the medium-pressure units. www.zeppelin-systems.com
