The customer is at present benefiting from the construction boom in India and is upgrading the capacity of its factory at Wadi in the south Indian state of Karnataka to 13,000 tonnes per day. ACC’s  purchasing decision was influenced by the reliable performance of bucket elevators with heights of 174 m and 171m supplied by Beumer Group to the same client in the past. The huge dimensions of this latest bucket elevator, in combination with high-quality steel wire belts of particularly high strength, will provide a capacity of around 600t/h.
