International conference on bulk solids handling and processing
CHoPS (Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids), one of the largest international conferences devoted to all aspects of powder and bulk solids technology, will be held 10-14 September 2018 at Greenwich Maritime Campus in London. The executive committee, led by chairman Professor Mike Bradley, is calling for innovative and informative papers on a wide range of topics including:
• Segregation
• Mixing
• Mechanical conveying
• Silo design for flow
• DEM – process modelling
• Mechanical behaviour of bulk materials
• Wear
• Particle attrition
• Particle interaction/deformation
• Powder flow testing
• Industrial applications in the form of end user case studies.
Abstract submissions will be accepted from January 2017. CHoPS is organised by The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology and supported by several related trade associations. The last CHoPS Conference in 2015 brought together more than 200 particulate solids specialists, scientists and engineers from all over the world – with an international attendance of 80 per cent. Established in 1995, the event is one of the longest-running conferences on particulate solids anywhere in the world. www.chops2018.org; www.bulksolids.com
