PROMIXON, Magnano (MI), Italy, specialising in manufacture of industrial mixers, reports that its new test centre located at the company’s main plant close to Milano Malpensa airport is already helping to boost equipment sales. An analysis of trials carried out during the first six months since the facility opened have demonstrated that the company’s latest range of mixers, unveiled at K 2016 in October, have been performing up to 30% above expectations, both for plastics and powder coating applications, resulting in the signing of several new orders.

 

The mixing systems available for customer trials include: the hot/cold mixing combination XBLEND-MC/400/1200, comprising an XM turbomixer and an XC horizontal cooler, well suited for production of rigid or plasticised PVC dry-blend, WPC, masterbatch, additives, powders and for bonding of powder coatings; there is also the FX-300 container mixer, suitable for production of concentrated pigment masterbatches, pre-mixing and blending of powder coatings and engineering plastic compounds. www.promixon.com
