24.09.2012 Rectangular silo vent filter

The Infa-Jetron Type AJB was developed by Infastaub, Bad Homburg, Germany, in the 1990s for dedusting of pneumatically filled silos or other hoppers. The target was to design a sturdy and universally applicable, pneumatically cleaned vent filter. The filter had to be inexpensive, taking into account purchasing and maintenance costs combined with low maintenance requirements. Since the 1990s the AJB has been regularly improved with many technical developments.
Based on the Infa-Jetron AJB 800, the new silo vent filter Infa-Jetron Type AJP 224 has been launched by Infastaub and has a rectangular design. The construction of the recently engineered cartridge filter combines the advantages of the AJB and the mechanical shaking filter AM 204, which has been installed on many silos during recent years.
The new AJP is a silo vent filter with pneumatic cleaning, a filter housing made of mild steel and a removable top cover, under which the compressed air reservoir is integrated within the clean gas chamber. Like the AJB, it has a well balanced ratio of filter area and housing dimensions to support maximum conveying performance of the bulk transport system and can be equipped with filter cartridges or filter bags. www.infastaub.de
