10.04.2017 High-capacity bucket elevators for Polish cement plant upgrade

Beumer Group, Beckum, Germany, has won an order from Polish steelworks engineering company Mostostal Kraków to deliver four high-capacity belt bucket elevators to the LafargeHolcim cement plant in Kujawy, Poland. These systems are part of a project, for which Mostostal Kraków is the general contractor, to improve the production and the quality of cement blends at the plant. Mostostal will also deliver cement silos as well as the corresponding conveying technology as part of its scope of supply.

The high-capacity belt bucket elevators from Beumer will have centre distances of up to 50m and a conveying capacity of 350t/h, which is ensured by the special belt design of the steel wire belts. At Beumer, the company’s centre of competence (CoC) for the cement industry (see EBS News for week of 16 May 2016) will be responsible for the project. The systems are scheduled to go into operation at the end of 2017. www.beumergroup.com
