Behn + Bates Maschinenfabrik, Münster, Germany – part of Haver & Boecker’s Machinery Division – has recently introduced the new ROTO-PACKER® ADAMS® CARE-LINE EDITION bagging machine which has been designed to fill powder-type products into single or double layer PE tubular film bags. A key feature of this latest model is that it unifies proven machine components in a totally new way in order to minimise dust-collecting surfaces and to provide optimum ease of cleaning. This means that only the absolutely necessary minimum number of components (most of them EHEDG-certified) have been incorporated into the machine, and all components are encapsulated. The machine edges are bevelled and the corners are rounded. There are no open threads, edges or boreholes in the structural steel frame. Another notable innovation is the edge-sealed film welding that protects the product in the filled bag more extensively. 

 

This innovative machine will be among a wide range of new equipment developments on the Haver& Boecker stand (1-535) at POWTECH, 26-28 September.
