06.11.2017 Key Beumer appointment

Beumer Group has named Guido Hesse, 50, as director in charge of customer support at its head office in Beckum, Germany. He assumes responsibility for controlling and coordinating the global centre of competence and he will define, together with his team, the technical and organisational principles of services and support for BEUMER products.
"We see our task not only in preventing malfunctions and machine breakdowns, which would lead to long downtimes", Hesse said. "No matter what industry, our customers have to meet the ever increasing market demands and improve the capacity of the equipment, for example – and we take care of this." An industrial engineering graduate, Hesse intends to further advance the strategic development of his international team and to ensure smooth communication between the different locations worldwide.
Before joining Beumer he held various commercial management positions in the machine and plant engineering industry with a strong focus on international business. This included responsibility for subsidiaries abroad and working as commercial director in Mexico. He successfully completed turnkey projects in large-scale plant engineering for the cement industry. Since 2013 he has been working for Beumer. Prior to his appointment as director of customer support, he was managing director of the Mexican group company.
