Matcon, Evesham, UK, won two PPMA (Processing & Packaging Machinery Association) Group Industry Awards at a dinner event held at the National Motorcycle Museum on the opening evening of last month’s PPMA Show in Birmingham. Entries were judged by an independent panel of industry specialists and Matcon was shortlisted as finalist in four categories. On the night, the company received awards for “Processing & Packaging Machinery Manufacturer of the Year” and “Exceptional Sales Growth”.
The awards were in recognition of the company being a machinery manufacturer that has excelled in areas such as new product development, sales and customer service and secondly, displaying exceptional growth in sales domestically and abroad. It was also commended for the “Partnership of the Year” award, because of its close working relationship with metal detection equipment supplier Lock Inspection Systems. www.matconibc.com
