REMBE GmbH Safety + Control, Brilon, Germany, will be presenting at POWTECH (9-11 April) a new non-return valve, the Q-Flap RX which has been jointly developed with RICO of Switzerland and is available up to DN 1250. The strict requirements of EN 16447 are mainly achieved through the device’s very high strengths and flexible installation distances. REMBE emphasises that isolation is essential for effective explosion safety; no matter how much operators invest in (flameless) venting, if there is incomplete isolation, the explosion can spread within the system and continue to propagate throughout a plant.

The REMBE Process Safety business unit will also be presenting various new products at the show, including a non-invasive signalling system and a newly developed graphite rupture disc.

Other REMBE Alliance companies at POWTECH will include REMBE Research + Technology GmbH (whose test facilities have been accredited as an independent testing laboratory according to DIN EN ISO 17025) and REMBE Kersting GmbH which will be presenting a new, fully automatic sampling system that is able to depict the entire process chain from the sample extraction in one part of the plant all the way up to the laboratory. In addition to inline sampling, REMBE Kersting offers products for flow measurements, and silo weighing of bulk materials worldwide.
