POWTECH 2019, which took place 9 – 11 April in Nuremberg, was supported by 824 exhibitors from 35 countries. This compares with 835 exhibitors from 29 countries for the 2017 event which had taken place 18 months earlier. The number of this year’s trade visitors at just over 14,000 remained almost identical to the 2017 total and on both occasions the percentage of visitors from outside Germany was 40%. Alongside Germany, the top exhibiting countries this year were Austria, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands. This underscores the fact that internationally this trade show continues to be the undisputed foremost industry gathering for the powder and bulk solids community.

Innovations this year included the Networking Campus which was well received by both visitors and active participants, as well as the Recruiting Day on the third day of the show which demonstrated that POWTECH and the Networking Campus are well suited to provide initial contacts between employees and potential job applicants.

This year’s PARTEC Congress for Particle Technology, which takes place every three years in parallel with POWTECH in the spring, welcomed more than 500 delegates from 30 countries. The next POWTECH is scheduled for the three days of 29th September – 1st October 2020. www.powtech.de
