EuroChem Volgakaliy LLC, Russia’s largest producer of fertilisers, has contracted Aumund Fördertechnik, Rheinberg, Germany, to supply central chain bucket elevators and twin-strand trough chain conveyors for the Gremyachinskoye potash project in Kotelnikovo.
By the end of 2012 Aumund will deliver three twin-strand trough chain conveyors (TKF) featuring centre distances of 10m to 33m and discharge capacities of 180t/h to 360t/h as well as three central chain bucket elevators (BWZ) with a conveying capacity of 180t/h each. The bucket elevators will be designed to operate continuously at temperatures from 30° to 150°C transporting potash from drying to granulation stages.
