Fritsch welcomes government delegation for regional business development discussions
At the end of October Fritsch Milling and Sizing, Idar-Oberstein, Germany, played host to a delegation of the subcommittee for regional economic politics led by its chairman Stephan Mayer (member of the German Bundestag, CDU/CSU). Purpose of the visit, which included a tour of various other firms in the region which had previously benefited from state-funded grants, was to assess current performance and possible future financial assistance for the companies in question, especially in view of the proposed EU directive that with effect from January 2014 the old Federal States will no longer be in a position to allocate subsidies.
Delegates were given a guided tour of the Fritsch production facilities followed by discussions with managing director Robert Fritsch, technical director Wolfgang Mutter and head of accounts department Annette Fried, along with senior representatives from the company’s bank. www.fritsch.de
