11.02.2013 Bagging: non-spill filling at a rate of 2000 x 25kg bags per hour

Haver & Boecker Machinery Division, Oelde, Germany, has recently upgraded its HAVER ADAMS PROCESS® technology which has been designed to ensure environmentally gentle and non-spill filling of powders and powder-products that have a proportion of coarse components into compact, sealed and weather-proof PE bags. More than 50 HAP® systems in stationary or rotating versions have gone into operation to date.
The first of these machines were capable of achieving an output of up to 1200 bags per hour, but now capacities of 2000 x 25kg bags per hour can be reached. Thanks to the machine’s modular design, both turbine and air-filling systems can be integrated, and thus allow a wide range of filling options. All products that can be filled into valve bags can be handled, including those with difficult flow properties, provided they have a certain minimum bulk density. A first ADAMS 8 (eight filling spouts) high-performance machine for cement and dry building products has for the past few months been operating successfully with a customer in Great Britain. In addition to high capacity, much value has been placed on operator friendliness and low noise emissions. The machine is completely enclosed by sound-absorbent material. Latest examples of HAP technology will be exhibited by the company at BAUMA, 15-21 April, in Munich (Hall B2, Stand 129/236). www.haverboecker.com
