11.02.2013 Clean flow magnet can capture stainless steel particles

Goudsmit Magnetic Systems, Waalre, the Netherlands, has developed a fast-cleaning, clean flow magnet that attains a magnetic field of 10,700 Gauss. The magnet system is designed to remove iron particles and weak magnetic particles from powdery substances such as milk powder, sugar and flour. With the application of a new generation of Neoflux® magnets, it is also possible to capture weak magnetic particles such as stainless steel. Because the grill can be drawn outwards by means of a rail, the CE-marked magnet ensures smooth operation and full operator safety.
The casing is made of 304 stainless steel and the entire machine has a smooth finish (Ra≤0.8ų), thereby complying with HACCP/EHEDG requirements. The unit is intended for fitment to vertical pipes and can be used in the foodstuffs, ceramic and chemical industries. It is available in three standard dimensions, suitable for capacities of 10-20m3/h. Special dimensions can be manufactured to client specifications.  It will be exhibited at Powtech (Hall 1, Stand 339). www.goudsmit.eu
