Jacob Söhne, Porta Westfalica, Germany, has recently introduced the Hygiene Distributor pipework system for applications where there is a need for frequent cleaning of the inner surfaces, necessitating quick and easy disassembly and reassembly of component parts. Thanks to the innovative design of the new system, this can be achieved even when it is installed. The entire shaft and flap components can be removed and refitted easily without need for any tools.
The company specialises in modular pipework for dust extraction, exhaust air and pneumatic conveying of bulk materials. Pipe diameters are within the range 60-800mm or larger for customised production and 1-3mm pipe wall thickness.
