22.07.2013 Latest bagging, palletising and wrapping advances on show

Beumer, Beckum, Germany, will be exhibiting its most recent technical developments in the field of packaging at Fachpack 2013, Nuremberg, 24-26 September (Hall 4, Stand 325). These include the recently upgraded fillpac R rotary packer which is designed for capacities from 300 to 6000 bags per hour. The system is now capable of accommodating all types of sacks. When fitted with a special bag placer, it can even fill HDPE bags. The size of the filling impeller has also been increased.
The latest version of the robotpac (pictured) comprises a space-saving articulated arm robot which can carry out even complex palletising and depalletising tasks reliably and efficiently. It is capable of stacking a variety of containers such as bags, cartons, boxes, canisters and trays safely and economically. Flexibly exchangeable gripper systems have been developed for every packaged product. With the paletpac range, the company provides a high-performance layer palletizer for bags. The geometrical accuracy and stability of the palletised stacks make for problem-free storage and safe integration into the downstream Beumer stretch hood packaging system. The stretch film fixes and secures the goods reliably on the pallet, at the same time protecting them against the effects of the environment and providing a highly effective display medium. www.beumergroup.com
