US designed drag conveyors available in Europe
Hapman’s tubular drag conveyors are now available through its European head office in Opole, Poland. They have been specifically engineered to maintain the integrity of blended product and to eliminate demixing. The company points out that segregation of material is often the costly result of selecting the wrong conveyor technology to transport blended product. Its tubular drag conveyors have successfully handled a diverse range of materials ranging from hardened steel shot to pasta.
In addition to the capability to gently convey friable and blended materials, other advantages include dustfree operation and protection of material from outside contamination, complete discharge, ability to start under load, low operating costs, possibility for multiple inlets and outlets combined with flexible layout (horizontal through to vertical including tight bends), as well as high capacity up to one cubic meter per minute. www.hapman.eu
