21.10.2013 Complete compounding plants from a single source

KraussMaffei Berstorff, Hanover, and Zeppelin Systems, Friedrichshafen, announced last week at the K-Show in Düsseldorf that they had  extended their recent cooperative working relationship by entering into a strategic partnership to build turn-key compounding plants for the production of technical plastics. This collaboration is specifically intended to accommodate the global changes in plant engineering for compounding plants. By amalgamating their individual spheres of expertise, the two German engineering firms will be able to provide turn-key plants for the production of bulk materials such as polyolefin to international chemical companies and plastic producers. The scope of supply will include storage, dosing and packaging systems, in addition to overall engineering management.

KraussMaffei Berstorff and Zeppelin Systems have been working together for years and have successfully completed many international projects. The two companies will operate as a consortium – virtually as a single company – in the field of technical plastics compounding. www.kraussmaffeiberstorff.com; www.zeppelin-systems.com
