Jesma Vejeteknik, Vejle, Denmark, has developed a complete programme of intake scales specially designed for in-line weighing of bulk materials such as powders and granulates with focus on operational reliability and accuracy. The JesHopper Intake can be used in many industries, ranging from grain and feed milling to more heavy-duty applications such as cement handling. It can be used for raw material intake, in-line weighing where accuracy is very important as well as for weighing finished products into bulk bags. In this way the same technology can be used throughout the production process, making it easier for employees to maintain and service the equipment. The unit can be set up for up to 400 weighments per hour and with capacities up to 900m³/h. The smallest intake scale from Jesma has a maximum capacity of 12m³/h and can go down to a minimum of 0.1m³/h. The JesHopper Intake is a suitable for handling high flow rates, and can achieve accuracies better than 0.1%. Based on the high accuracy and optimum reliability the scale is available in trade-approved versions according to the MID directives OIML R107 and R61, Class 0.2 and 0.5.
