UWT autumn dealer training get-together
Bulk solids level indication specialist UWT organised a four-day training session for its international distributors in late October. Twenty three participants from all over the world gathered at UWT headquarters in Betzigau, Bavaria. Represented were a total of 20 nations from around the globe including countries such as Tunisia, France, Estonia, Russia and Bahrain. After the joint factory tour, the attendees got down to business.
The first day focused on the basic training concerning the individual UWT products Rotonivo, Vibranivo, Capanivo and Nivobob. The participants were particularly pleased with the workshops in which various materials representative of different industry sectors could be tested on the devices. In addition, specific case studies and individual application reports concerning the relevant international markets of the distributors were highlighted.
During the second day the radar measurement technology of the SITRANS LR 560 was on the agenda. Radar technology is the most modern measuring method currently available on the market and as a Siemens Solution Partner, UWT was able to include this remarkable new instrument in its product portfolio last year. The subsequent discussion of the participants with the UWT export team and product managers completed the training. www.uwt.de
