12.05.2014 Powder and bulk solids engineering firm expands head office

Global bulk material engineering specialist Jenike & Johanson, Tyngsboro, MA, on 13th May conducted a ground-breaking ceremony for its head office expansion. In 2006 the firm moved into its current premises which it has now outgrown as a result of a nearly 75% increase in operational activity since then.

The additional office space will enable a doubling of the current engineering and advanced modelling and simulation staff. The company will be immediately filling nearly a quarter of the space with new engineers hired from around the world. It plans to fill the remaining offices over the next few years. Also, the new building will include room to accommodate additional equipment and extra staff for its world-class testing laboratory. Jenike & Johanson is the world's foremost specialist in powder and bulk solids handling, processing, and storage technology. Over the past 55 years it has tested over 10,000 unique powders and bulk solids and worked on more than 7500 projects. www.jenike.com
