12.05.2014 World’s most popular IBC sets new standards

Schütz, Selters, Germany, unveiled further improvements to its Ecobulk MX intermediate bulk container at interpack 2014. Three years ago the company started a comprehensive redesign of the same IBC model, the relaunch being presented at interpack 2011. All key components were modified both individually and in the way they interact. The latest design sets new standards with regard to safety, user-friendliness and performance.

The experience gained from over a million applications worldwide, feedback from customers, a broad range of diverse tests and load analyses provided the basis for the comprehensive improvement and further development of the Ecobulk MX.
The new IBC has increased stacking resistance and it can withstand 30% more weight in the maximum stacking pressure test with significantly less buckling. The latest container can handle and distribute static and dynamic loads better than the previous model, thanks to the new design of the steel grid. The new version of Schütz’s classic IBC combines optimum handling characteristics with the highest stability and durability, largely due to the new steel pallet that the IBC has as its base. www.schuetz.net
