12.05.2014 New CEO joins Schenck Process

Schenck Process, Darmstadt, Germany, a global leader in industrial measuring technologies, has appointed Andreas Evertz chief executive officer with effect from 5th May. Taking over from Dr Jochen Weyrauch, he will work in close coordination with the two other managing directors, Mike Petkovich and Wolfgang Kleinschmidt.

Dr Weyrauch played a key role in shaping the company’s development over the past 11 years in his capacity as a board member of Carl Schenck AG. In late 2005 he led the successful carve-out from Dürr AG, since when Schenck Process revenues have tripled to their current level of over €600 million.
Andreas Evertz has a senior managerial track record in industries relevant to Schenck Process, most recently as an executive board member of the Swedish industrial group Sandvik. For many years he was CEO of Walter AG, the Tübingen-based manufacturer of precision tools.
