09.06.2014 W&H makes a move to full line bagging capability

Windmöller & Hölscher, Lengerich, Germany, is now in a position to supply machines covering the entire packaging process, including FFS bagging, palletising and stretch-hooding. The company unveiled this development at interpack, demonstrating a palletising capacity of up to 2800 bags/h, fine-tuned to the speed of the TOPAS SL which was introduced last year. The stretch-hooder is supplied by Lachenmeier of Denmark, technological market leader for load securing systems, and has been fully integrated into the W&H product range.

“This expansion of our product portfolio by a palletizer and a stretch hood machine was very well received by our customers,” said director of sales Peter Steinbeck. “Our customers appreciate the advantage of having to negotiate future investments for high-performance bagging machines with only one partner, who takes over the full project responsibility.” www.wuh-group.com

During the interpack trade fair over 160 W&H customers from 29 countries were invited to witness the complete bagging line in full operation at the company’s Lengerich headquarters
