In its 125th anniversary year Norres Schlauchtechnik, Gelsenkirchen, Germany, has already introduced 50 new technical developments during the first half of 2014. Now a further four product innovations have been unveiled. These include the tapered flange coupling system CONNECT 245 CSH which is now available as a pre-assembled system with a corresponding hose and optionally with customised connectors. The heat-resistant NORFLEX® TPE 405 and the NORPLAST® PVC 384-AS are now available in permanently antistatic versions. Lastly, the PROTAPE® TPE 321 REINFORCED offers the benefits of a fabric-reinforced hose: durable, abrasion-proof and at the same time highly flexible, light and compressible. It is said to be well suited for applications from the transport of powdery solids, through to gaseous media and steam extraction. It is also particularly suitable for blowers and compressors.
