Bürkle, Bad Bellingen, Germany, has recently introduced the QuickPicker which collects samples quickly and channels them directly into the sampling bottle. It will be shown on stand 4A-204 at POWTECH. This core sampler is particularly suitable in the event that bulk goods are taken directly from sacks or bags and have to be filled into the original sampling bottle directly. The device is uncomplicated in its use and cleaning. No undercuts or edges mean no sample residues which could falsify subsequent samples. It is therefore well suited for quality control.

QuickPicker corresponds to the ISTA standard for seed lengths of 10mm (wheat, oats) and 5mm (flax, vetches). Insertion depth is 30cm, diameter 25mm. The unit, which is suitable for use with aggressive chemicals, is made of stainless steel (1.4404) or transparent PP and is both scratch-proof and sterilisable.
