25.08.2014 Sanitary airlocks machined from stainless steel

DMN-Westinghouse, Noordwykerhout, the Netherlands, will present the new SAL sizes 50 and 65 on stand 1-425 at POWTECH. These small sanitary airlocks are not cast but machined from solid stainless steel and are very suitable for low-capacity applications that have the highest hygienic requirements, like the pharmaceutical industry. The company will present the SAL range from 50-100 including the EHEDG compliant version.  The SPTD single pipe plug diverter will also be on display in a smaller size. This 80mm inlet straight pipe diverter is very suitable for applications in the food, pet food, plastics and petrochemical industries and has been specially designed to route powders and pellets with minimum degradation in pneumatic conveying systems. The design of the SPTD plug diverter conforms to all current legislation regarding safety in the workplace. Consequently there are no moving parts on the outside. Both components have been developed to meet customers’ needs for smaller sized valves. www.dmnwestinghouse.com
