Rice Lake Weighing Systems Europe, Heteren, the Netherlands, (formerly Master Engineering) will present a new approved weight indicator for tank-, hopper- and batch weigh systems on Stand 4-228 at POWTECH.  Operations can be carried on the display and remotely by PLC using a network option. The user can decide to leave out the display and work only with the processor part of the device as a black box.

The model 880 is a very modern weigh processor with standard RS232 /RS485, Ethernet TCP/IP, Bluetooth, a USB port and a hardware slot for an optional card. By this hardware slot the device can be equipped with the following options: Profibus DP, ProfiNet, Modbus TCP, DeviceNet, EtherNet IP and digital I/O. Apart from the panel mount version, a field mount version is also available.

The delivery programme of Rice Lake consists of Master belt scales, dosing belts, screw weigh systems, loss-in-weight systems, impact flowmeters, silo- and bin weigh systems, and batch systems.
