Frank Oosterlinck has been appointed managing director of explosion protection specialist Fike Europe, Herentals, Belgium. "Frank's background and expertise will be a tremendous asset to Fike. He has held numerous leadership positions at globally recognised companies, overseeing commercial and business development activities," said Scott Ruland, executive vice president of Fike’s Industrial Protection Group, located at the company’s headquarters in Blue Springs, MO. 

Oosterlinck, who holds a degree in commercial engineering as well as a master's degree of business administration in marketing, has worked extensively throughout Europe and has experience managing inter-European operations in the Benelux, France, Germany and the UK. He will oversee Fike's European operations which include a production facility for explosion protection and pressure relief devices in Belgium and sales offices in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom. www.fike.com
