18.06.2012 Intensiv-Filter in administration

At the end of May dedusting specialist Intensiv-Filter, Velbert, Germany, submitted an application for insolvency. The local district court of Wuppertal appointed Dr Marc d’Avoine as the temporary insolvency trustee. In the course of a preliminary meeting with the company’s senior executives Dr d’Avoine was able to evaluate the situation. The immediate objective is to complete as quickly as possible those projects which are currently in progress and steps have already been taken to implement this decision. To improve prospects for successful recapitalisation, Dr d’Avoine has meanwhile undertaken measures to improve operational efficiency and to expedite further technological developments. As the result of a continuing aggressive sales strategy the company is currently experiencing full order books for both machine and plant manufacture despite the insolvency proceedings.

As previously planned Intensiv-Filter will be exhibiting at Achema (see last week’s Industry News). “Thereby we show our customers and partners that the insolvency is an opportunity for Intensiv-Filter which will be used for the continuity of the company. Various investors with whom we are in discussion are already at hand,” said Dr d`Avoine.
