Aumund Fördertechnik, Rheinberg, Germany, will by end of this year deliver a drag chain conveyor, with a capacity of 200t/h in clinker, a deep drawn pan conveyor with baffles and a further deep drawn pan conveyor to the Limak cement plant at Balikesir, Turkey. In addition, in December another deep drawn pan conveyor and a belt bucket elevator will be delivered to the Limak plant in Trakya.

These contracts were awarded in order to expand capacity at existing cement plants. 

In addition, for feeding a new silo, Aumund is scheduled to deliver in November three more deep drawn pan conveyors to the Akcansa plant at Canakkale. 

In February 2015 a comprehensive delivery for the Medcem cement terminal Yeşilovacık will follow. The scope of delivery for this order will include a chain bucket elevator, two belt bucket elevators and a double-strand bucket elevator as well as two Samson mobile loaders, each with a length of 7.50m and a clinker transloading capacity of 375t/h. In addition, the customer ordered six telescopic chutes each capable of loading clinker at 200t/h. According to information from the Turkish Ministry of Economy, currently 67 cement plants are in operation nationwide, including 19 cement mills and 48 integrated plants. www.aumund.com
