Stroud-based Redler, which several years ago became part of the Darmstadt, Germany, headquartered Schenck Process Group, has relocated to the Lakeside, Doncaster, offices of its sister Schenck subsidiary Clyde Process (previously Clyde Materials Handling). At the same time Schenck Process UK has moved from its previous Stockport head office, to join the other two companies in Doncaster.

The thinking behind the move is simple, according to Schenck Process UK Ltd managing director Nick Jones. “All three companies are specialists in their fields,” he said “and by bringing them together we are now able to offer clients an unrivalled service.”

He went on: “With an R & D budget of more than £1 million each year in the UK alone, Schenck Process is firmly committed to the development of new products and services”. He said that the company’s next steps would include building a new factory and test house next year. The UK company’s turnover is forecast to exceed £45 million this year compared with £26 million in 2011.
