Axel Kiefer, 52, has been named CEO of Zeppelin Systems, Friedrichshafen, Germany, with effect from beginning of April this year. He had previously been managing director at Coperion responsible for materials handling, following the merger in 2008 between Coperion Werner & Pfleiderer and Coperion Waeschle.
 

Kiefer takes over from Dieter Brücher who had been appointed on an interim basis to the position at short notice one year ago, following the demotion at the beginning of 2014 of Bernhard Scherer, his predecessor as Zeppelin Systems CEO. “With Axel Kiefer in our team, we gain an excellent manager and industry expert for our company.
