13.04.2015 Typhoon establishes high-level Middle East business links

Typhoon NV, based in Beveren-Leie (Waregem , Belgium) in the last week of March signed several important commercial agreements in the Middle East. During a Belgian trade mission to Qatar and the UAE and in the weeks thereafter, the company entered into various contracts with local representatives relating to sales of industrial fans and other air/technical components, as well as for participation in turnkey projects involving industrial dedusting and pneumatic conveying installations. Typhoon previously shipped many industrial fans to several partners that are active in the waste water industry, specifically in the engineering of de-odouring installations. This past activity provided a springboard for the further cooperation in the region.

“The signing of the commercial agreements and the immediate sales orders are the direct result of our strategy to go more international with our proven niche technology developed over more than 55 years”, said Typhoon’s managing director Frederic Bulcaen, who participated in the Belgian trade mission which was attended by HRH Princess Astrid of the Kingdom Belgium. www.typhoon.be
