Metal separation ‘health check’ available at PRE
Bunting Magnetics Europe, Berkhamsted, UK, will be exhibiting a range of magnetic separators and metal detectors on stand E027 at PRE 2015, being held 16-17 June at the International Centre in Telford. Among the innovations on show will be a high-intensity separation conveyor which is designed to ensure efficient removal of stainless steel contaminants. Also shown on the stand will be one of the most commonly used magnetic separators in the plastics industry, the drawer grate magnet (pictured), where metal is captured on cartridge tube magnets.
UK sales manager Carlton Hicks explained the reason for exhibiting at PRE in 2015: “We [Bunting] have always had a strong association with the plastics industry and have designed and supplied magnetic separators specifically for metal problems that the industry faces. We see PRE as the ideal venue to inform companies about this technology”. At PRE 2015 Bunting will be offering a free ‘metal separation health check’ where company experts will be available to assess any type of metal contamination problem.
