SOLIDS Rotterdam with added dry bulk cargo dimension
SOLIDS Rotterdam, part of Easyfairs’ Solids European Series of events which bring together users and suppliers of bulk handling and processing equipment, including related components and instrumentation, will take place at the Ahoy exhibition complex over the two days of 30 September and 1 October. Some 250 exhibitors will show latest innovations and there will also be a practical content programme focusing on the food and chemical sector. This will include case-studies relating to reduced energy consumption, sustainability, new business models, industry 4.0 and the need for enhanced technical education. In addition, there will be networking breakfasts, business receptions and dinners. This year’s event will for the first time include a German pavilion.
Also co-located alongside SOLIDS Rotterdam for the first time will be a Dry Cargo Conference & Exhibition. This will provide a global meeting place for ship owners, operators, charterers, agents, exporters, importers, traders, ports, terminals, logistics providers and bulk materials handling suppliers. The exhibition offers a showcase for port/terminal technology and operations. The conference programme will cover dry bulk trade, shipping, logistics, ports, terminals and engineering.
