New president of De Dietrich Group
Chemical equipment specialist De Dietrich Process Systems, Niederbronn, France, in early July announced the appointment of Remco de Jong, 52, as president of De Dietrich Group. With a recent background in top management positions of large international industrial groups in France and Germany, he rose to prominence at the Torus Group (now Tata Europe) where he successively headed different departments. In 2004 he moved to Almatis Group as director of operations in China, becoming CEO in 2009. In 2011 he took charge of the refractory minerals department of Imerys, a group including 20 industrial sites worldwide.
Marc-Antoine de Dietrich, president of the supervisory board, said: “We are pleased to welcome Remco de Jong who has a strong experience in managing and developing international industrial groups. His task will be to give new impetus to DDPS growth by developing innovative solutions for our customers in Europe, Asia and America.” Expressing thanks for the contribution made by the outgoing president, he added: “The entire supervisory board joins me in paying tribute to the work carried out by Daniel Steck during all these years.” www.dedietrich.com
