Compression coupling with metal-detectable gasket
STIF, Saint-Georges-sur-Loire, France, has launched the latest version of its EURAC compression coupling for connecting pipes in pneumatic conveying systems. It has been equipped with a metal-detectable, FDA-approved silicone gasket which is blue in colour to make it easily identifiable. Its maximum operational temperature is 180°C and it is especially suitable for use in food and pharmaceutical industries.
This innovative gasket is available for all diameters and for galvanised or stainless steel compression couplings. STIF has been producing EURAC compression couplings for more than 25 years and they are exported to 80 countries. www.stifnet.com
