04.01.2016 2016 short courses relating to bulk handling

The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology, University of Greenwich, UK, has released details of its schedule of short courses taking place this year. These will include three new subject areas: Network security of industrial control systems in the process industry – an introduction to securing wireless-controlled technology (9 March); Introduction to processing of dry solid materials (7-8 June); and Handling and storage of waste and recycled bulk materials (5 July).

 

Other topics include: Dust explosions – how to demonstrate ATEX/DSEAR compliance; Rotary valves; Pneumatic conveying; Caking and lump formation; Undesired de-blending and separation in processes and equipment; and Biomass handling, feeding and storage.
