Delft Solids Solutions, Wateringen, the Netherlands, is organising a one-day seminar and workshop on mixing powders, with special emphasis on measuring and preventing segregation of powder mixtures. The day is specifically intended for operators, plant managers, technicians and researchers working with powders in chemical, pharmaceutical, feed and food industries. The first half of the day will be given over to a seminar with presentations from manufacturers and suppliers of mixing equipment as well as scientists working in the pharmaceutical and food industry. These will include manufacturers Hosokawa and Lindor with further speakers from Abbott Healthcare, DSM/Technical University Delft, Aspen Oss and Delft Solids Solutions.
