08.02.2016 Upgraded vibratory sieving technology

Farleygreene, Mapledurwell, UK, has recently launched the SIEVGEN 400-US ultrasonic sieve which is designed for separation of very fine powders such as toner and ceramics, as well as heavy metal powders used in the production of additives. This follows the introduction last year of the updated SIEVMASTER ‘Slimline’ straight through vibratory check sieve (see EBS News for week of 6 April 2015). This range of sieves is primarily designed to pass material straight through a mesh screen to remove any contamination from bags, silos, drums, etc. and can incorporate an under-screen rare earth magnetic separator to remove any ferrous metal contaminants. The unit can fit into existing lines thanks  to its low height profile or into a debagging station which can dispense into containers or can connect to any type of conveying line, whether mechanical, vacuum or pneumatic.

All Farleygreene machines come with a 24 month warranty, full support for spares and a rapid response re-meshing service for any type of ring or frame. Sieve units can be trialed in the company’s new test facility in Hampshire or tests can be carried out at customers’ sites.
