The latest innovation from Concetti (see above) is the PS-3A four-column robot palletizer. This machine combines features of single column robots with those of a high level layer palletizer, ensuring the flexibility of a robot and the pallet build quality of a layer palletizer. This combination of elements provides a compact system which is capable of palletising many different types of bag. 

 

Concetti produces palletizers of every type (high and low level layer machines; single, two and four column robots) and can therefore make recommendations based on the best machine for every application. One of its customers, a supplier of animal feed, petfood, cereals, seeds and cat litter, employs a very wide range of packaging formats, so Concetti supplied a highly flexible bagging line, complete with a PS-3A four-column robot palletizer, that allows the entire range to be palletised easily and successfully.

 

Program changes are automatic and take just a few seconds, guided by the PLC and servomotors installed on the machine. This makes it possible to handle different formats or use different palletising patterns in a very flexible manner.  The machine comes complete with an automatic empty-pallet magazine.  Various optional accessories can be provided including bottom sheet dispensers using PE film from a reel or paper or cardboard sheets from a magazine. www.concetti.com
