10.10.2016 PSL wins royal stamp of approval

Powder Systems Ltd (PSL), Liverpool, UK – one of the UK’s leading pharmaceutical process engineering companies – on 30th September welcomed officials from the Merseyside Lieutenancy. The dignitaries included Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant, Dame Lorna Muirhead DBE and The High Sheriff of Merseyside, James Davies OBE, who presented PSL with two awards from the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: for Innovation and also International Trade. PSL was one of the six small and medium-sized companies to achieve this double accolade.

17 years ago PSL won the Queen’s Award for Export Achievement and these new awards confirm the company’s continuing international vitality.

PSL has also announced the formation of a group of process development companies that includes Powder Systems Ltd and the new pioneering facility C.O.P.E. Inc. The new group structure, Powder Systems Group, is the parent organisation for both PSL and C.O.P.E. (Center of Process Excellence). Set up in Broomall, PA, USA, C.O.P.E. will aim to provide a wider range of services for process development within the pharmaceutical industry. www.powdersystems.com
