Matcon, Evesham, UK, has recruited Israr Ghulam as finance director. He replaces Stephen Ball who in January was promoted to the position of managing director. Mr Ghulam will manage his duties alongside his other position as finance and site director of Redditch-based Gast Europe, which like Matcon is a subsidiary of IDEX Corp.

 

He joined IDEX in November 2014, having previously worked as finance director for Eaton. Here he had similarly been responsible for overseeing finance functions across two manufacturing sites, one in the West Midlands and the other in France. Prior to this he had held a finance position at Mettler Toledo.
